We tested the Craghoppers Compresslite Jacket through a high intense test in the winter backcountry of the Utah mountains summiting 3 peaks at altitudes nearing 10,000 feet while completing backcountry skiing, avalanche safety and rescue training over 2 days. This test included blizzard conditions involving 18 inches of fresh January powder on a 70 in snow base. The compresslite jacket was used as an insulating layer under a waterproof jacket and above other base layers and served to provide ample and noticable warmth and comfort in these relatively extreme conditions.
